WhaleClues · Order flow intelligence

Every whale leaves a clue.

Real chart: a $633.22M dark pool block of 820,000 shares at 772.22, printed 08/11 12:17:03 ET, its price marked by an arrow across the chart

You already know the level. What you can't see is whether anyone is actually defending it — until the whale print lands on the same chart.

WhaleClues turns raw order flow into a clean, readable chart — whale-sized trade markers, the XJER energy indicator, block prints, and key levels.

01 Whale Resonance

A whale rarely moves one ticker.

That is deliberate. A whale works the whole group in parallel because spreading an order is cheaper than pushing one market. The shading marks where several instruments fired inside the same short window: enough to tell a group-wide move from one instrument's own. The alert feed names which instruments and which shapes — never a direction.

Colors: red marks take-profit on longs, green on shorts, and gold marks an undetermined direction — the move could continue, end, or reverse.

02 XJER Indicator

Price lies. Energy doesn't.

XJER measures the live balance of buying versus selling energy beneath the tape, and its color transitions show which side currently dominates.

When the chart looks like a range but energy is draining the other way, that disagreement is what the indicator is built to show — a reading, not a forecast.

03 Block Trades

Institutions leave prints.

Every institution-sized trade, pinned to the exact price it crossed at. Dark pool or lit venue, patient block or aggressive sweep — you see where the big money actually committed.

The session's largest step onto the chart itself: diamonds sized by dollar value, at the price and minute they crossed — the day's headline prints, in context.

04 Key Levels

The levels the market remembers.

Volume clusters. Historical stalls. Strength-ranked. When a marker lands on one of those lines, you can see the overlap — the chart does not tell you what to do with it. We measured what happens after price breaks a pre-listed level across 482 SPY breaks; the answer is less flattering than the folklore.

05 Confluence

One marker is a print. Several at once is a picture.

Cross-instrument synchronization. Marker-family overlap. Energy divergence. When independent readings land on the same price, that stack is what WhaleClues makes visible — context to read, not a trade to take. The research note on how order flow and gamma confluence actually stack sets out which signal families count as independent.
