1. Subscription Plans
We offer two billing options:
- Monthly Membership: billed monthly and renews automatically each month.
- Annual Membership: billed once per year and renews automatically each year.
Each futures symbol or product you select has a fixed monthly or annual price, clearly displayed at checkout before you purchase; your total is the sum of the items you choose. We offer a 7-day free trial: a payment method is required to start it, but you are not charged during the trial and can cancel anytime before it ends. Trial-ending, renewal, and receipt notifications are sent through our payment processor (Stripe).
2. Your 7-Day Free Trial Is the Risk-Free Period
Instead of a post-purchase refund window, we give you a 7-day free trial so you can evaluate the Service before paying. A payment method is required to start the trial, but you are not charged during the trial, and you can cancel anytime before it ends to avoid any charge. The trial is your opportunity to decide whether the Service is right for you.
3. After a Paid Charge — Non-Refundable
Once your free trial ends and a paid charge is made (and for every subsequent renewal), fees are non-refundable, except where a refund is required by applicable law (see Section 5). We do not issue partial or prorated refunds for unused time on either the Monthly or Annual plan. You may cancel at any time (see Section 4) to stop future charges.
4. Cancellation
You may cancel at any time, on either plan, and cancellation is at least as simple as sign-up: from your Account page, choose Manage subscription to open the self-serve billing portal. Cancellation stops future renewals; your access continues until the end of your current paid billing term. Cancelling does not by itself trigger a refund (your risk-free period is the free trial in Section 2).
5. EU / EEA / UK Consumers — Statutory Right of Withdrawal
If you are a consumer resident in the EU, EEA, or UK, you have a statutory 14-day right of withdrawal for distance contracts, in addition to the free trial described above. This right applies regardless of any other term in this Policy.
Immediate access and its effect on this right. WhaleClues delivers digital content and a digital service with immediate access. At checkout, you will be asked to expressly consent to us beginning to provide the Service immediately and to acknowledge how this affects your 14-day right of withdrawal, specifically that:
- for digital content supplied instantly, you lose the right of withdrawal once provision has begun with your prior express consent; and
- for the ongoing subscription service, if you withdraw within the 14-day period after giving that consent, you will be charged only for the portion of the service actually provided up to the moment you withdraw, and refunded the remainder on a pro-rata basis.
How to exercise it. EU/EEA/UK consumers may withdraw within the 14-day period by emailing [email protected] from their registered account email, stating their name and the order they wish to withdraw from. We will confirm receipt and process any pro-rata refund due to your original payment method.
6. If We Discontinue the Service
If we permanently discontinue the Service in your region or shut down the platform, we will issue a prorated refund to Annual subscribers for the unused portion of their current paid term. For users in jurisdictions with mandatory statutory refund rights, we honor all legally required entitlements in addition to this Policy.
7. Non-Refundable Scenarios
Unless otherwise required by applicable law, no refunds are issued for:
- Accounts suspended or terminated for Terms of Service violations (account sharing, scraping, resale of content, harassment, etc.);
- Refund requests tied to personal trading losses, dissatisfaction with market outcomes, or trading results;
- Refund requests made after a paid charge (other than valid EU/EEA/UK statutory withdrawal under Section 5);
- Chargebacks initiated without first contacting our support team.
8. Refund Request Process
To request a refund:
- Email [email protected] from your registered account email.
- We review and respond to all requests within 7 business days.
- Approved refunds are processed to your original payment method within 7–10 business days.
Processing times may vary depending on your bank, card issuer, or payment provider.
9. Payment, Taxes & Billing
All subscription fees are quoted in USD and exclude applicable taxes, VAT, GST, currency-conversion fees, bank fees, or payment-processor fees unless otherwise stated at checkout. You are solely responsible for any taxes or fees imposed by your jurisdiction, bank, card issuer, or payment provider.
Payments are processed securely via our third-party payment provider, Stripe. WhaleClues does not store your full payment card information; card details are collected and held by Stripe under its own terms.
By subscribing, you authorize WhaleClues and its third-party payment providers to charge your selected payment method on a recurring basis according to your selected plan. If a payment fails, is declined, or is reversed, we may suspend or terminate access until payment succeeds.
We reserve the right to adjust pricing for future billing cycles, with advance notice (by email or in-app) before the change takes effect. Existing subscriptions honor the rate in effect at the time of purchase until the next renewal, unless otherwise disclosed at the time of subscription.
Any refund issued under this Policy equals the actual amount you paid for the subscription (or, for EU/EEA/UK statutory withdrawal, the unused pro-rata portion). Taxes, VAT, GST, currency-conversion, bank, or payment-processor fees already remitted to authorities or third parties are non-refundable to the extent permitted by applicable law.
